The iQoo 9 series, rumored to include the vanilla iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro smartphones, will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship SoC Gaana, JioSaavn, Amazon.
The Vivo sub-brand also confirmed that the smartphones will feature a VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system that will have a soak plate with an area of 3,926 square millimeters. The news comes a few hours after iQoo announced that the iQoo 9 series will debut on January 5 in China, and at least one phone in the line will include a 4700 mAh battery with 120-watt fast charging to keep their temperature under control.
In a post on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, iQoo shared two images confirming that the phones, likely the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro, will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset will be paired with an “upgraded version” of LPDDR5 RAM and an “overclocked version” of UFS 3.1 (translated) storage. He also says that the phones will also include a VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system.
In a teaser a few hours ago, iQoo revealed the battery specs for the series. Without naming any particular phone, the Chinese brand said that the smartphone will include a 4700 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging technology and 50 W wireless charging support. If we follow the trend of specifications in the iQoo 8 series , the iQoo 8 Pro has a bigger battery with 120W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts.
The battery specs may belong to the rumored iQoo 9 Pro, while the iQoo 9 series has also been confirmed to launch on January 5 in China.
